Tisha Brown

A true product of the Big Apple's melting pot, Tisha Brown was born and raised in NYC by her African American father and Korean mother. Her love of fashion and costumes began as a child of the city going to Alvin Ailey performances, art exhibits and people watching.

Her styling career began as a fluke in 1994 when a manager friend; always an admirer of her style, asked her to put together some looks for his artist. She quickly turned this serendipitous opportunity into a career and began styling for the music, fashion and commercial industries. Tisha's clients include Usher, Alicia Keyes, N.E.R.D, Mos Def, MTV, AT&T, L'oreal and countless others.

Drawing influences from art and cinema, Tisha uses costumes to weave together vivid, eclectic stories of creative expression. Her cheerful nature and professionalism brings a playful energy to every project she undertakes with effective results.

Tisha is currently freelancing as a wardrobe stylist and designing Rebel Chic jewelry. She is based in New York but regularly works in Miami and Los Angeles.
